Synonyms: 6-FAM azide
FAM azide, 6-isomer (6-FAM azide) is a 6-carboxyfluorescein derivative with an azide functional group and coupling partner in copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition. FAM azide, 6-isomer participates in synthesis of fluorescently tagged disparlure enantiomers for pheromone-binding protein binding assays. FAM azide, 6-isomer is widely used for labeling oligonucleotides (Ex/Em = 493/517 nm) .

6-FAM-PEG3-Azide is a PEG-modified azide-functionalized fluorescein derivative that is used for labeling oligonucleotides. 6-FAM-PEG3-Azide is also a click chemistry reagent. It contains an Azide group and can undergo a copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing an Alkyne group. When 6-FAM-PEG3-Azide is co-incubated with boron clusters in a non-covalent manner, it enhances the cellular uptake and membrane permeability of 6-FAM (HY-66021). 6-FAM-PEG3-azide is applicable for fluorescence bioconjugation and probe development-related research .

6-FAM-PEG2-azide is a derivative of 6-carboxyfluorescein (6-FAM) featuring an azide group for use in click chemistry reactions (CuAAC). It incorporates a PEG2 linker to enhance solubility and reduce steric hindrance. 6-FAM-PEG2-azide is primarily used for click chemistry-based bioconjugation (Ex/Em = 495/519 nm).
